All the participants of the Women’s EHF Champions League has been officially confirmed by the EHF Executive Committee in Glasgow. Our title-defender team, Győri Audi ETO KC is also on the line-up of teams which will join the tournament in the group phase.
The final match of the WOMEN’S EHF FINAL4 has brought fantastic excitement for the handball fans, because through the fantastic performance and struggle of the players of Győri Audi ETO KC the final has ended with the victory of the title-defenders. They have not just performed well and gained the well-deserved victory, but thank to it they have written themselves into the history of the Champions League Final4s, because before them no one was able to defend the Champions League Winner-title in the FINAL4 system of the competition. The WOMEN’S EHF Champions League title-defender Győri Audi ETO KC is going to take part between 12th and 13th of May in the WOMEN’S EHF FINAL4, in Papp László Budapest Sportaréna. We hope, that a multeity of our fans will cheer for the success of the girls in green and white on the venue, but don’t worry if you missed the chance to buy your tickets for the event, you can follow the matches on a giant projector live at Dunakapu tér in Győr! Common greetings of the girls will be held – instead of Sunday night – on Monday evening!

The best four teams – Győri Audi ETO KC, HC Vardar, CSM Bucuresti and Rostov-Don – have made it to the top event of the WOMEN’S EHF Champions League, to the WOMEN’S EHF FINAL4 2018 thank to their fantastic performance during the season so far. The pairings of the semifinals have been drawn on the official draw event in Budapest – our team has to fight against CSM Bucuresti in order to get into the final.

There was a real thrilling fight between the title defender Győri Audi ETO KC and their montenegrin opponents, Buducnost Podgorica in Audi Aréna Győr at Saturday night. Thank to the fans and spectators, the girls in green and white could play a very exciting and tough game in front of full house, they could increase their 6 goals lead to 8 after the two quarter final matches and they made it to the WOMEN’S EHF FINAL4!
