In the third round of the EHF Champions League, Győri Audi ETO KC hosted the French team of Metz in Audi Aréna Győr. In the first half the French unforgivingly punished every mistake of Győr. They scored easy goals and and built up a confident lead until the break. Our team could not turn the game around in the second half, ultimately suffering a 24 – 28-defeat.

Győri Audi ETO KC is hosting the French team of Metz in the third round of the EHF Champions League in Audi Aréna Győr. The game starts at 18.00 on Saturday 24th September 2022 and will be televised live on Sport1. We inform our fans that from this season the doors of Audi Aréna Győr open one hour prior to the matches. This Saturday fans can enter the building from 17.00.

Győri Audi ETO KC played its first home game of the 2022/2023 season in the Champions League against the team of Kastamonu from Turkey. The first half of the match was uneven for us, but we still managed to lead by nine goals until the break. Only the extent of the victory was in question in the second half, resulting in a confident win for our side in Audi Aréna Győr (44 – 25).

An exciting game awaited our team at the start of the season in Denmark. We dominated from the beginning, however Team Esbjerg equalized at halftime from a three-goal deficit. In the last part of the second half it was our squad who won the war of nerves and came out victorious, 31-29, earning valuable points in the away game.

The 2022/2023 season of the Champions League is kicking off. We will meet Team Esjberg, who also appeared in the previous FINAL4 in Budapest. The first game of the CL season begins on 11th September at 16.00, and will be broadcast live on Sport1.
2022. 02. 21.
The Group Phase of the 2021/2022 season of the DELO EHF Women's Champions League has been closed. Our team, Győri Audi ETO KC, finished the section with thirteen wins and one defeat and secured their top spot in Group B with three rounds to go. As a result, the team will skip the Play-off round and will meet the winner team of the Odense Handbold - Brest Bretagne Handball match in the quarter-finals in a two-legged tie for the FINAL4. We have analysed the results of the Group Phase.
2022. 02. 19.
In the last match of the group phase of the DELO EHF Champions League, Győri Audi ETO KC played at home of Vipers Kristiansand in a match without any real stakes for us. We were leading for a long time in the first half, but eventually the teams went into the break with a 3 goal lead for the home team. The second half was a huge battle, with the Norwegian side winning by one goal in a game full of twists and turns.

Our team will play the last match of the Group Phase of the DELO EHF Champions League at the home of Norwegian Vipers Kristiansand. The match against the defending champions will start on Saturday, 19 February 2022 at 18:00 and will be broadcast live on Sport1.

In the match postponed from the 9th round of the DELO EHF Champions League, Győri Audi ETO KC played at the home of IK Sävehof. At the beginning of the first half, Sävehof surprised our team, but at the halftime our team was leading by three goals. In the second half there was no question about the fate of the two points, in the end of the match Győri Audi ETO KC won to 31-25.

For the next match of the group stage of the DELO EHF Champions League – the meeting which was postponed from the 9th round – Győri Audi ETO KC will travel to Sweden. The match against Sävehof will start on Sunday 13 February 2022 at 16:00 and will be broadcast live on Sport1. We talked with our head coach Ambros Martín before the match.
