With the home match against IK Sävehof the 2019/20 CL season has officially begun for the girls of Győr. The swedish team including young talents was very enthusiastic about this game and the fantastic atmosphere in Audi Arena Győr. Gábor Danyi's team made a solid domestic defense and took the lead easily thanks to the excellent performance of our goalkeepers as well.

On the first weekend of October the CL-season 2019/20 has started for Győri Audi ETO KC as well. Our six-goal advantage at halftime has been increased confidently to 12 after the second thirty minutes.

The opening match of the 2019-2020 season brought a real head start to the Audi Arena in Győr with almost 5,000 spectators – the BL-title defender home team welcomed the team of Siófok KTC KFT, which won the EHF Cup last season. As expected, the first thirty minutes of the match brought a fierce atmosphere, a close and tough fight, after which we had a four-goal home advantage to take the break. At the start of the second period, the guests tried to catch up, but in the end there were no doubt that we win the match and gain valuable points.

Jana Knedlikova suffered an ankle injury during the training of Győri Audi ETO KC. The right wing player was examined by the team doctor, Dr. Péter Balogh.
Eduarda Amorim suffered a finger injury during the last match of Győr Audi ETO KC on Preparation Tournament against Buducnost Podgorica. Detailed examinations found a tape injury on the player's right thumb.
She is an Olympic silver medalist, world and European champion with the French national team, and she recently celebrated EHF Cup victory with her previous club, but she has been waiting for joining her new team enthusiastically and motivated – she is Estelle Nze Minko.
It can not be said at all that the environment is completely new for our new playmaker, as spending a few years in her home country she headed for Hungary in 2016, so she is already familiar with the Hungarian League and the Hungarian Cup – not to mention the green and white jersey, which can be worn by herself starting from now.

By the time she was 25, she was already an Olympic champion, two times world champion and European champion in handball and a one-time Champions League-winner regarding her club success. However, she is not yet satisfied with the range of successes listed before, and she is still working hard to return from a successful rehabilitation following her knee injury and to do her best in green-white club colors. Her old dream has come true with the opportunity to wear the jersey of Győri Audi ETO KC and she is hoping, that the world famous green and white fans will support her as well.

She had to step out of her comfort zone by moving to a new, foreign country, but who would blame her for doing all this if it is because of the call of Győr Audi ETO KC ?! Beatrice Edwige, key player of the French national team, Olympic silver-medalist, world champion and European champion came to Győr with great vigor and enthusiasm. She will never forget the first experience of last season with her previous team at DELO WOMEN'S EHF FINAL4, beacuse it is something that you want to re-experience in green and white jersey as well.

Silver medalist at the London Olympics, European champion with her national team in the same year, four times Champions League-winner and she also has several first places in various national championships. We have seen her before in the green-white jersey in the 2013/14 season, when the girls of Győr made a 3/3 victory in each competition where the team took part in. Her goals have not changed for the 2019/2020 season, but it's definitely a special feeling to take on the green-and-white jersey again, says Katarina Bulatovic in a short interview.
