Győri Audi ETO KC is represented in four national teams by their players in the Women’s EHF European Championship hosted in Denmark The Danish, Norwegian and French teams secured the qualification after their two group matches, with ETO classics in their line-up. The Hungarians still have a very difficult match against the Dutch. Our club's players are doing great for their national teams, and they have earned several Best Player of the Match awards.

The Hungarian Handball Federation has decided on the postponed match of the Győri Audi ETO KC against Békéscsaba, which was scheduled on 8 September 2020. According to the decision, the team get the two points with a result of 10-0.
For the rest of the 2020/21 season, Amanda Kurtovic will no longer appear in Győr colors. The club and the player agreed that the back player will be able to go on loan to another club for the rest of the season.
Győri Audi ETO wins against Buducnost Podgorica in the 9th round of the DELO WOMEN'S EHF Champions League in a fast-paced match, with nice individual solutions, steely defence and great goalkeeping performance. Even Gábor Danyi had only ten players, the team left no doubt about who wins in this weekend. The team played very well and produced a confident second-half.
By the decision of the European Handball Federation (EHF) the next CL match should be played on scheduled time, although the team was allowed to come out of the official quarantine just few days before the match. On November 21st of 2020, at 6 p.m., Gábor Danyi and his team will host Buducnost Podgorica behind closed gates. We will have only 11 adult players ready to play. The match will be broadcast live on TV channel Sport1.
Our club has kept the European Handball Federation informed of covid positive cases and official quarantine situations. By the decision of the EHF the match must be played.
The teams's second test showed another Covid-positive case, but the others will soon be able to leave home.
There is another announcement regarding the team of the next season. The Board and President Csaba Bartha are committed to develop a team, which could achieves any goals. Noémi Háfra, who one of the greatest talent in Hungarian women's handball, has decided to accept the offer of Győri Audi ETO KC and continue her career here. Nadine Schatzl returns to her youth team, making sure that we can start next season with powerful left wingers.
Another player decided to extend her contract. President Csaba Bartha said that the team for the 2021/22 season is being developed at a good pace.
On 10th of November 2020, the Győri Audi ETO KC team at Petz Aladár Hospital took the regular test due to the upcoming K&H Women's Handball League match against Boglár Academy-SZISE , according with the regulations of HHF. Unfortunately there were 4 positive samples.
