Go ETO, Go Győr!
In the words of club president Csaba Bartha, the Győri Audi ETO KC wishes everyone a peaceful Merry Christmas and a new year rich in successes, health and joys!
During the break in club competitions, the management of the Győri Audi ETO KC will continue negotiations on the next season’s team. This time, another player decided to extend the contract.
For the rest of the 2020/21 season, Amanda Kurtovic will no longer appear in Győr colors. The club and the player agreed that the back player will be able to go on loan to another club for the rest of the season.
Our club has kept the European Handball Federation informed of covid positive cases and official quarantine situations. By the decision of the EHF the match must be played.
The teams's second test showed another Covid-positive case, but the others will soon be able to leave home.
There is another announcement regarding the team of the next season. The Board and President Csaba Bartha are committed to develop a team, which could achieves any goals. Noémi Háfra, who one of the greatest talent in Hungarian women's handball, has decided to accept the offer of Győri Audi ETO KC and continue her career here. Nadine Schatzl returns to her youth team, making sure that we can start next season with powerful left wingers.
Another player decided to extend her contract. President Csaba Bartha said that the team for the 2021/22 season is being developed at a good pace.
On 10th of November 2020, the Győri Audi ETO KC team at Petz Aladár Hospital took the regular test due to the upcoming K&H Women's Handball League match against Boglár Academy-SZISE , according with the regulations of HHF. Unfortunately there were 4 positive samples.
