Our youth teams performed great in last week’s championship rounds.
Youth
It was a tough week for our youth teams. There were two hard champion rounds in one week. Our youth team and the sponge-handball team could show their best.
ETO players of the youth program had a lot of matches last week. Our teams (ages 9 and 13) performed perfectly in the Children Championship. Our youth-junior teams played excellent matches against Siófok. Our players from Bercsényi Secondary School taking part in professional training at the academy could exceed our expectations when they won the final of Student Olympics in combined age group (5-6) where they beat Fradi and Neka.
In the past two weeks, all our youth players played rounds in championships. There were two rounds for the older ones and one for the pre-schoolers. Our youth returned from the winter holiday with big successes.
Besides the adult team, our junior and youth teams also played the first round of NBI against Fehérvár. Taking the two points in both games, made their coach satisfied.
Because of the coming winter holiday and Christmas, it is a less busy period in the youth championships. The youth teams of ETO are through an easier week, but not less exciting.
Every December we celebrate ETO Christmas with our youth players to thank them for their work throughout the year.
The SK Talent teams of ETO from Dunaszerdahely performed successfully at the 8th Student Cup. The girls participated in more age groups and everybody arrived home with a medal. Our youth teams were also collecting points in the different league games.
Our youth teams had a lot to do last week, in the higher leagues we played several derbies. Our juniors had a great win over Dunaújváros, who is ranked higher in the first league (NBI) standings. We tied with Érd twice in the NBI/B as the visiting team.
In the youth program of Győri Audi ETO KC, the competition season is on, providing the girls with easier and more difficult challenges. Last week, the youngest ones could do their share; there were competitions almost every day.
