Continuous negotiations are taking place in connection with Győri Audi ETO KC’s squad for the future seasons. Győri ETO Ltd, led by Managing Directors Endrődi Péter and Vanyus Attila, set the objective of not just keeping, but if possible further strengthening the team of Győri Audi ETO KC in the upcoming years of national and international competition. The first step in this process is that Stine Oftedal will surely play in the green and white jersey also in the following season. „Stine had a 1+1 year contract at our club, where both parties had a say concerning the additional year, that is the 2023/24 season. It is gratifying that both of us decided on continuing together and that we could agree long before the deadline specified in the contract. Stine is an outstanding athlete, a true leader on and off the court. I am proud that she chose to continue working with us. I believe that we will share many successes together in this season and also the next” – stated Endrődi Péter.
„I feel myself really good in Győr, where I am part of a wonderful team. Though I had the opportunity to decide about the next season, I didn’t have to think a lot about the continuation. In Győr everything is given to work calmly and untroubled. I share the success-oriented aims and expectations of this club and we are motivated to win every championship at every level. Stine Oftedal joined Győri Audi ETO KC in the summer of 2017. Since then, the exceptional playmaker has sported the green and white jersey in 214 games and scored 874 times. She has won the Champions League two times with Győr and also celebrated three Hungarian Championships and three Hungarian Cups with the team.
Linn Blohm will also continue playing in Győr, who extended her contract expiring next summer. „Linn has proved in the last one and a half years why she is one of the best line players in the world. She is a player with a real professional mentality and is exceptionally effective as a scorer. It was not a question for us that we would like to extend her contract. I am happy to announce that we can definitely enjoy her game in Győri Audi ETO KC until the summer of 2025” – said Endrődi Péter.
„It was a great opportunity for me to come to Győr last summer. I hope that I could meet the high expectations here. The club provides us with everything we need, we just have to concentrate on handball. The morale in the locker room is really good, it is fantastic to play together with these girls. I found the vision of the management attractive, so I didn’t have to think a lot about accepting the offer to extend my contract. I am proud to be part of the ETO family, surely until the summer of 2025. After the national team period I am waiting to go back to Győr and continue the mission to reach our goals. I would like to do everything I can to help the team to succeed with my game – commented Linn Blohm.
Linn Blohm arrived to Győr in 2021 Summer, she has already been Hungarian Champion and secured silver medals in the Champions League and the Hungarian Cup. She played in 53 games for Győri Audi ETO KC and hit the back of her opponents’ net 198 times. This is a 3.74 goal average per game.
