The "rematches" of the K&H Women's Handball League are about to begin, with Siófok coming to the Audi Arena Győr in the 14th round. The meeting will start on Wednesday, 9 February 2022 at 18:00 and can be followed live on our club's Youtube channel.
Half of the 2021/2022 season is already over in the K&H Women's Handball League, where Ambros Martín's team is at the top of the league with a flawless record. Wednesday's opponents, Uros Bregar, who replaced Gábor Danyi as head coach during the season, is leading Siófok, the 8th team in the table with six wins and seven defeats. Siófok lost in the first two rounds, in the first round our team Győri Audi ETO KC won to 40 - 32 in Siófok, then Kisvárda beat them at home (35 - 34). The third round brought the first success for Siófok, a 38 - 33 win against Szombathely. In the fourth round, Budaörs surprisingly took two points from them (24 - 29). In the match brought forward from the 10th round, the Black and Yellow team won to 32 - 26 against DKKA at Dunaújváros, but suffered a 33 - 32 defeat at home against Vác. Surprisingly, Siófok suffered a 48 - 29 defeat at Mosonmagyaróvár, and then lost to 33 - 31 at Ferencváros. Uros Bregar took over from round 8 and made his debut with a win against Érd (28 - 26). Siófok played the last four rounds at home before Wednesday's clash, winning three of them (Siófok - MTK 37 - 31, Siófok - Alba Fehérvár 30 - 26, Siófok - Vasas 36 - 24) and losing only against DVSC (23 - 21).
