Dear handball fans!
We have left a difficult, struggling 2021 behind us, but despite all the difficulties, we can start the new year with the feeling that this can be our year again!
The results of the previous season were below what we all expected, so it was clear that we would start the current season with the ambition to be the best on all fronts again.
With this principle in mind, we started the big journey at the beginning of September and so far we are doing very well. The medals and trophies are not being handed out now, but no one can take away our victories. Only one club in Europe can claim to be unbeaten in the 2021/22 season: Győri Audi ETO KC!
I wish that the great performance of the autumn will continue in 2022, and I wish that we can all look forward to a great season together at the beginning of June.
In addition to the sporting challenges and defeating our opponents, we all had to - and unfortunately it looks like we will have to - fight the coronavirus in 2022. We've had postponed games, we've played in front of empty stands, but the best part was when the fans were able to return to the halls. I am confident that with your support we will achieve all our goals in the matches and celebrate these successes together!
I look forward to seeing you again this year at our arena, the Audi Arena Győr, to cheer on and support the team during the matches. The 2021/22 season is still to come: we have played 18 matches so far and I hope to play 29 more. 16 league matches, 3 Hungarian Cup matches and 10 matches in the Champions League.
