The Hungarian Handball Federation has officially informed our club that our player Nadine Schatzl gave a positive test sample in Spain for COVID. The isolated Schatzl will be replaced by Csenge Fodor who will travel to Valencia.

The coronavirus has reared its head within the Hungarian women's handball national team. After Zoltán Holanek, who tested positive in Paris following the preparation match against France before travelling to Spain, Nadine Schatzl's rapid test today also gave a positive result. Our player is fine and has no symptoms for the moment, but she is in isolation. Nadine Schatzl's close contact, Viktoria Lukács was also isolated. She will be able to participate in the World Championships after a negative PCR sample.

The Hungarian Handball Federation has called Csenge Fodor to replace Nadine Schatzl in the national team. Fodor will leave immediately for Spain to be available for the national team, even for the first group match against Slovakia.

We wish Nadine Schatzl a speedy recovery!
