The 25th Women's Handball World Championship will kick off in Spain on 1 December with Spain's clash against Argentina. A total of thirteen players from seven nations will represent Győri Audi ETO KC at the world event, which will be held for the first time with 32 teams.

In Group A, two Győr players will be in action, as the French national team includes Estelle Nze Minko and Laura Glauser. France will face Montenegro, Angola and Slovenia in Granollers.

Denmark, with Anne Mette Hansen, and South Korea, with Ryu Eun Hee, will also play their group matches in Granollers. Their Group F opponents will be Tunisia and Congo.

Group B and Group E will be played in Lyria. The former includes Russia, Serbia, Cameroon and Poland, while Group E will be contested here by Hungary, with Noémi Háfra, Viktoria Lukács and Nadine Schatzl. Hungary's opponents will be Germany, Czech Republic and Slovakia.

In Group C, Romania will be represented by Crina Pintea, while Norway will be represented by Kari Brattset Dale, Silje Solberg, Stine Oftedal and Veronica Kristiansen.  They will be joined by Kazakhstan and Iran. The group matches will be played in Castello.

Group G matches - Croatia, Japan, Brazil, Paraguay - will also take place here.

Sweden with Linn Blohm on their team have been drawn in Group D with the Netherlands, Puerto Rico and Uzbekistan, while hosts Spain are in Group H with Austria, Argentina and China. The two groups will be played in Torrevieja.
