The Hungarian women's handball team played two preparation matches against Olympic champion France in Paris. In the first match, on 26 November, Lukács' team was defeated by five goals, to 33 - 28. In the return match on Sunday, November 28th, the Hungarian team led for a long time - thanks to a great first half - but finally lost by one goal (29 - 28) to Estelle Nze Minko's team, who played on home soil.
