Győri Audi ETO KC has recently conducted an online survey in order to find out the opinions of fans and spectators about why fewer spectators and fans are arriving for the győri Audi ETO KC home games at the Audi Arena Győr over the past two seasons. Interesting and instructive answers have been obtained.
On one of the largest social media platforms, in several fan groups a survey had been published recently at the request of our club. We would like to find out why the number of spectators have decreased after the COVID-19 outbreak.
More than 1,300 responses arrived to the question. The survey showed that 40% of the respondents do not attend matches mainly because of the mandatory Immunity Certificate, i.e. they are most likely don’t have the necessary ID for sporting events. Less than 20 % of the respondents explained their absence from matches by ticket prices. Interestingly, 25% of respondents stay away from matches for other reasons (11% for other reasons, 9% for the fear of the virus, 5% watches on TV).
Győri Audi ETO KC would like to thank all respondents for their opinion. Naturally, our club will examine its possibilities in order to ensure that in the near future as many people as possible will be able to encourage the team in person at the Audi Arena Győr. We hope that the pandemic situation will allow the opportunity to welcome spectators at sporting events in the future.
Final results of the survey:
- Lack of Immunity Certificate 40%
- Expensive ticket prices 20%
- Other 11%
- I'm there for every game10%
- Fear of the virus 9%
- I'd rather watch it on TV 5%
- Long distance 5%
