In the 4th round of the K&H Women's Handball League, Győri Audi ETO KC was a guest in Kisvárda. After a week performance in the first half, we had a two-goal disadvantage. In the second half, our defense improved, but we made many mistakes in attack. The final score was 31-25, we won by six goals and took the two points from Kisvárda.
Ambros Martín started the match with Lukács, Háfra, Kristiansen, Brattset, Hansen, Fodor and Glauser in the goal. The match started with a Brattset goal, followed by a goal from Kisvárda. In the 9th minute the home team took the lead, but Lukács’s goal was immediately equalized (4 - 4). After 17 minutes, the Kisvárdas had a two-goal advantage (8-6), so Ambros Martín called the first timeout in the meeting. Unfortunately, the picture of the game did not change much, by the last ten minutes of the half our team was two goals behind, and in the 22nd minute the home team led by three goals (11–8). By the end of the half, they had decreased the difference, to 16-14.
The second half started with Silje Solberg in the goal. Our team's defence improved and in the 37th minute Lukeácd’s goal took over the advantage (18-17). After a quarter of an hour, Kisvárda led again (23-22). Although our team's defence has improved significantly, unfortunately there were many inaccuracies in attack, and the teams started the last ten minutes with a one-goal lead for Győr (23–24). In the final minutes our team held their advantage, and in the end we won by 6 goals.
