Welcome to Győr! You got a short break after the Olympics. Did you get some rest? How did your days go after you got home?
Thank you! I tired to focus on rest for these 10 days. I spent most of my time with my family, it was a long preparation for the Olympics and the Olympic Games, so I spent 3 days with sharing my experience.
How satisfied are you with your and your team’s performance in the Olympic Games?
Looking back, finishing seventh at the Olympics is a nice result, we didn't think it was a nice result at the time, but we came home and completely revaluated it. We didn't start so well, we didn't have enough experience. In my own performance, there were worse and better moments, even those of the team, but I tried to do my best.
Is it a lifetime experience to participate at the Olympics? What have you experienced will give you extra motivation to get the national team to Paris in 2024?
I shudder when I think back. I came home with a goal to qualify to Paris. The whole team will prepare for the next world competitions in such a way that to reach this goal. The Olympic Village was also a great experience to meet famous athletes.
You have had the first training session in Győr. How was the welcome?
It's really good, I already like it here. I know I'm going to learn a lot with the team, that's what gives me the most motivation.ű
You know the team well, some as opponents, others as friends. How do you see the this year's ETO?
I think we will be a really good team, we've have know to each az a team, there's a lot of new players, but the team and the staff are going to work to make that happen as soon as possible.
Are you looking forward to work together with Ambros?
I think it will be very good, I went home with great motivation even after the first training session. I'm really looking forward to every training session, to learn new things from him.
Who you most looking forward to playing with?
I'm looking forward to playing with the whole team.
How do you like Győr? Have you get know the city yet?
I really like it. My sibling helped me to move, I told my mom that I really like this town, nice, calm quiet. I walk with my puppy on the street.
In recent years, you played as an opponent at the Audi Arena. How do you feel about the new season?
I'm very motivated, as I mentioned, I'm really looking forward to the start of the season. I've been playing here as an opponent so far, but I would like to experience how it feel to play as a home player and what we can get out of the season together with the fans.
What are your goals? What would you be happy with at the end of the season?
I arrived with great goals, I would like to raise the Champions League trophy, as well as the champinship and the Hungarian Cup. I know it's very difficult, but I'm going to work hard for it.
The fans are very important in Győr, they accompany the team as where as possible. What would you say to them?
I'm really looking forward to getting started, and as you mentioned, let's work together to make a success and live through these moments together.
