The Returner - we talked with Crina Pintea

Nobody needs to introduce our team's returning player, Crina Pintea, as she quickly stole the hearts of all Győr fans. The excellent lineplayer is excited to play again in Győr and she is sending a message to the fans.

2^nd of January in 2019 was the date for Crina’s first appearance in Győri Audi ETO KC and she showed her skills against the biggest rival, Ferencváros. With her tough defence and precise attacks, she quickly earned the sympathy of the fans, as she took the goal of the capital's green-and-whites eight times in that game. In this half-season, which she spent in Győr, she won everything with the team, and although she left at the end of the season, she knew that she would wear the green and white jersey again. The experienced lineplayer arrives with serious goals. We're talking about this and her return in our quick interview.

You're not at an unfamiliar club. How's the comeback?

Yes, I'm here again. I feel fantastic and I am ready to achieve our goals.

The period you played in Győr was unforgettable. How do you remember that season?

The 6 months that I played here last time, was very successful. We won 3 gold medals and, of course, the Champions League. I lived my dream here, and I'm ready to do it again.

We're about to start working together, although because of the Olympics, there are going to be only few players in the trainings. What do you expect from the preparation? What do you expect from the season 2021/22?

I am looking forward to work with Ambros and the team. Yes, in this period there we will be less players present, but in my opinion the individual trainings will be very productive for us. For the season that comes, I would like to stay healthy and enjoy handball with all my heart, as always, and of course to achieve our goals.

The fans locked you in their hearts and welcomed the news of your return. Would you like to send a message for them?

The fans of Győr are truly amazing, they are so close to the team. For me their support is very important. What I can tell them, that they are in my heart now and forever.
