Our preparation start in two weeks

Preparation for the 2021/2022 season are already in process, the Győr Audi ETO KC squad will meet on 21 July 2021. This year, there will be unusual preparation for the adult team, according to the Olympics, only five adult players will be present at the first training session.

Preparation for the team will begin in the second half of July. 12 players from our club are represent their national team in Tokyo, at the Olympic Games, furthermore Zoltán Holanek represents as fitness coach and Anita Görbicz as a professional consultant for the Hungarian women's handball team, so they will join later.

From the beginning of the preparation, a total of five adult players will be available for Ambros Martín, Laura Glauser, Anne Mette Hansen, Crina Pintea, Dorottya Faluvégi and Csenge Fodor, will start the preparation on 21 July in Győr.

After the first meeting of the team, the players participate in medical examinations and fitness tests, and then a special preparation begins, since proper work cannot be ensured with this number of player in the training sessions. That’s why our club has initiate to train with several sports clubs together.

Between 26^th of July and 1^st of August, the players will be working with the Mosonmagyaróvár. Between 2^nd and 8^th August our team will move its headquarters to Debrecen, where we will train together with the DVSC - Schaeffler. From 9^th of August, the training sessions will take place again at the Audi Arena Győr, the girls will be training with Romanian first class Gloria Bistrita, Kim Rasmussen's band, and preparing in Győr.

After the end of the Olympic Games, each player of Győr will get a 10-day rest period. Thus approximately the squad will be complete on 18^th of August.

After a short period in Győr, from 22^nd of August, the entire squad will travel to Balatonboglár, the NEKA’s training camp. On 28^th of August 2021, the team will play its first official friendly match in Balatonboglár against Alba Fehérvár and on 2^nd of September against the Slovenian champion, RK Krim Mercator.

Previously, at the beginning of each season it was possible to visit the first training session and to visit the friendly matches free of charge. At the moment, due to the epidemiological situation, we are not yet able to provide accurate information about this, as the traditional season-opening fan event. Our club will examine the possibility of holding the event in connection with the development of the epidemic situation.
