During the summer break, the management of Győri Audi ETO KC will continue to work and negotiate for the future of the club. With the long-term goals of the team in mind, we have got an agreement with another player to extend her contract.
Although the 2021/2022 handball season has only started theoretically, we already have our first contract extension. The goal of Győri Audi ETO KC is to establish a stable core of the team for the coming seasons. Thus, we have started negotiations with our key players in time for the extension of their contracts. As a first step, we were able to reach an agreement with our line player on the extension of her contract.
"I am pleased to announced that Kari Brattset Dale will remain with Győri Audi ETO KC until 2024. In extending Kari's contract, I would like to point out that she was observed firstly at the World Cup in Germany in December 2017, where she still played in the "shadow" of Heidi Löke. Even then, it was clear that she was a player of special ability who could play in both attack and defence with outstanding performance. Perhaps many people at the time were received with scepticism her signing for Győri Audi ETO KC. It is difficult for a club manager to say this in a women's team, but perhaps it is safe to say that Kari has become the world's number one line player in recent years regarded the sport profession aspect. I appreciate that (as in previous years) we have been able to extend a key player’s contract, at the beginning of the season," said President Dr. Csaba Bartha.
" I feel really good about myself in Győr, there is a really fantastic and professional environment that surrounds me in the dressing room and at the club. I didn't have to consider too much, we quickly agreed on an extension. I appreciate to continue to play for Győri Audi ETO KC in the coming years and I am confident that we will fight for the highest goals," said Kari Brattset Dale.
Kari Brattset Dale joined to the Győri Audi ETO KC team in the summer of 2018. The 30 years old Norwegian player has put on the green and white jersey 128 times so far and has scored 434 goals. Since the 2018/2019 season, she has been celebrated one Champions League victory, one Hungarian League victory and two Hungarian Cup victories.
