Dr. Csaba Bartha, the President of Győri ETO KC and Attila Vanyus Honorary President were welcomed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Péter Szijjártó in his office. They discussed the difficulties of the last two years and the player squad for the new season.
One of the main topics at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade was the discussion of the difficulties by COVID-19 pandemic, which has afflicted the last two seasons.
From the point this season’s sport profession has also been reviewed. On behalf of the Győri Audi ETO KC President Csaba Bartha thanked to Péter Szijjártó and, through him, to the Hungarian Government for their work in controlling the coronavirus pandemic. It was a great help to our club that as the epidemic subsided, the protective provisions were also decreased, the fans could be present in the arena. It was a particularly good feeling and a great pleasure to be able to encourage the team in the Hungarian Cup final four and, of course, in the FINAL4, as well as in certain matches of the Hungarian League.
The squad of the 2021-2022 season was also discussed, in which Minister Péter Szijjártó was very up to date with regard to the players arriving.
The Minister assured the club that if the virus situation allows, next season he would like to encourage the team in the Arena.
