In the final of the Tippmix Török Bódog Women's Hungarian Cup, Győri Audi ETO KC played against Debrecen. The first half of the finale brought a tight match, and after 30 minutes, our team led for 13–15. In the second half we increased our advantage and it ended up with six goals, thus we won for 23–29 in the finale, which was our 15th cup victory.
Martín Ambros: "Congratulations to the team Debrecen, we played a real final against them! Of course, I'm very happy with the victiory. We had a lot of difficulties that we had to fix . It worked, so I'm very proud of my team.'
Anita Görbicz: "I am very happy that we managed to win. Even at the beginning of the game, during the singing of the National Anthem, I realised that as a player that was my last Hungarian Cup match. It was a real team effort, I'm proud of the girls. I would also like to congratulate Debrecen, they made our task difficult."
