Viktória Lukács also can prepare against Italy

Gabor Elek, the head coach of the Hungarian women's handball team, announced his team for the World Cup qualifier against Italy. The Győri Audi ETO KC is represented by Viktoria Lukács.

In addition to the 19 handball players who successfully won the Olympic Qualifier in March, Rita Lakatos was ivited for the World Cup qualifiers against Italy on 16 and 18 April.

Since the Italian team has given up their right to be host, both matches will take place in Érd. In addition to Viktória Lukács, Gabor Danyi, Anita Görbicz and Zoltán Holanek also have a role in the coaching staff. The Hungarian and Italian national teams have met five times so far, and the Hungarians have won all the matches.

The winner of the match will qualify for the World Cup in Spain in December.
