After the end of the 2017/2018 handball season Szidónia Puhalák could hardly take a breath before going directly to the national team training camp. The hungarian team has to face Kosovo and Belorus in the qualification phase of the European Championship, even if the outcome of these matches do not influence the successful qualification of ours.
The left wing of Győri Audi ETO KC, Szidónia Puhalák is after an eventful and exciting season with her club – they won every championships where they stepped on court. The well-deserved summer holiday isn’t far any more but the national team wants to do their bests at the end of the qualification phase of the European Championship in France December 2018.
„We have eventful weeks behind us in the 2017/2018 season, but I am very happy to be part of the national team as well, it gives me always plus motivation. To tell the truth, everybody is very tired now, so it is a big pleasure that we were able to reach our goal to qualify for the European Championship independent from the result of the match against Belorus on Saturday.” – answers Szidónia.
Hungary-Belorus European Championship qualification match starts at 16.30 on 2nd June 2018 (Saturday) in Kecskemét.
