The Spanish head coach of ETO informed the President of ETO, dr Bartha Csaba and the players about his decision in connection with his contract after the victory against Vasas.
“As I have already said, I will make my decision so that it is beneficial for the team. Now I can say that my heart wants to stay, but my mind has made a different decision. This is the hardest decision I’ve ever made in my life. I have got a lot of things from the club, the players, the fans and the citizens of Győr in the past 6 years, however, I feel that the time has come for the change. In the past few weeks, the circumstances around the team made me make this decision. My heart is Győr’s and the team’s, but my mind has decided to leave. Of course it does not affect the present season, we would like to win. Forever ETO.” - said Ambros Martín. The managing board has accepted his decision.
