The starting court players were Korsós, Mörk, Bódi, Amorim, Groot, Broch and Tóth with Grimsbö in the net. Jensen scores the third goal for the opponent, then Pedersen is successful, the result is 4-1 in the 5th minute. Mörk gets the ball and passes to Broch who doesn’t miss the net. Woller replies from the other side. Tóth gets suspended and the home team can do a 7-meter, Jörgensen doesn’t make mistakes. Grimsbö saves beautifully, then Jörgensen performs a back throw and scores another one. Ambros Martin requests timeout. Mörk fights a 7-meter throw out and scores. Then Jensen scores the 8th home goal, Broch socres again too, the result is 8-4. Burgaard comes with another successful attack after the home timeout. Korsós gets suspended and Jörgensen scores another one from penalty throw, then she repeats. Kendlikova scores her first goal from the side, then Görbicz finds the whole in the wall and gets the ball in the net. Burgaard increases the advantage of the Danish, Amorim fights a 7-meter out which Görbicz successfully does. After the immediate attack from the Danish team, Broch scores to empty net. Amorim gets another 7-meter and Görbicz is successful again. Blohm scores from the home team then Jensen comes with another one. Amorim and Broch successfully trick the opponent and reduce the difference, in the last second, Kristiansen scores one to Kiss. The result is 15-10.
Groot starts with a goal in the second part of the match, but Augustensen replies. Mörk scores from the next attack, then gives a pass to Broch who doesn’t miss it. Kristiansen scores from afar, then Groot replies, then another Danish goal comes. Groot fights a 7-meter out which Mörk misses to score. Ambros Martin requests a timeout in the 3rd minute. Groot is successful again, but Kristiansen is unstoppable and the reply arrives soon. Mörk reduces the difference, then Burgaard replies. Korsós scores another one from the side then the reply comes immediately. Amorim gets suspended for no understandable reason, then a Danish 7-meter comes, Jörgensen scores. Ambros Martin requests another timeout in the 16th minute. Kendlikova scores the 18th ETO goal, then Broch comes with the 19th. Blohm replies then Kristiansen increases the difference, the last timeout is requested by Ambros Martin. Görbicz scores from the 7-meter, then Amorim scores from back throw, the reply comes from Kristiansen, Blohm follows her then she gets suspended, Görbicz has a successful 7-meter again. Jörgensen scores the 27th home goal, then Görbicz reduces the difference in the last minute, the result is 27-23.
Ambros Martin thinks that the team didn’t do their best: “The match didn’t start well again, we had a big disadvantage which we couldn’t reduce until the end. We had a lot of mistakes in the first half, we couldn’t even reach our standard level. We could reduce the difference to 2 goals more times in the second half, but we failed. We might have been too confident, it is obvious that we have problems on weaker days.
Nycke Groot played against her former team: “ We made a lot of mistakes in the defense, then we had to work on reducing the difference which needed too much energy. The opponent played fantastically today and we couldn’t do our best.”
