How do you feel in Győr? Have you got used to the city?
I’m great thanks. It was a great step for me to sign here, but I didn’t regret it, I’m happy that I made this decision. The city is beautiful, not too big, it’s the perfect size for me.
I suppose there were more clubs that wanted you to sign there.
Yes, that’s true, many teams called me to play there. I chose Győr because I think this is the best team and the best coach works here too. The core of the team has been together for years and the club is stable. Considering these, there was no doubt about my choice.
There was a long period in your career, when you were injured and underwent a series of operations. Many people could not return after such a serious injury like you. What’s your secret?
Apart from my leg not being healthy, I trained in many different ways. I was hungry for doing sport as I was at almost every match, and I watched a lot of others. Besides these, I think it was important that I trained myself mentally until I was ready to return.
Could you fit in the team quickly?
Things are improving with the girls day by day. Everybody welcomed me really kindly. Everybody is really helpful which helps me fit in the team.
How would you introduce yourself? What are your strengths?
I’m a real fighter and I never ever give up. If there is something I hate it is being defeated.
Who were you looking forward to playing together with?
All of them, because I knew that this was a great team full of world stars. But if I have to name somebody, I would say Heidi Löke.
What can ETO be capable of with you?
I think a season full of joy is waiting for us. Our team is great, one of the strongest so I am also curious how many of our goals we can reach, I think the team is able to take every title.
What are your personal goals?
I would like to be a useful and effective member of the team and to play a successful season with ETO. Personally I would like to improve to be a better player.
How much do the fans mean to you in Győr?
It’s unbelievable that they accompany the team everywhere and support us. Their support mean a lot to me and to the whole team.
You are preparing for your first official game with Ferencváros. Do you prepare especially for this derby?
It will feel great to play in the Audi Aréna for sure. We are preparing for the match putting in all our effort, I individually watch more videos about them. I have played against them earlier so more or less I know what I can expect.
Good luck on the match on Saturday. Finally, please tell us who or what do you miss from Győr?
Of course I miss my twin, Thea, since we haven’t been far away from each other for such a long time.
