We started the match, but the opponent scored the first goal. By the 6th minute they had been leading by 1 goal. Goals went back and forth, then Tóth got suspended, then the opponent scored 2 goals in a row and Görbe scored from a 7-meter throw. Ambros Martin asked for a break. Amorim got suspended, then Tóth scored another goal, the result was (9-6). Kiss Éva saved beautifully, but Vác could keep the lead. Görbe and the others could reduce the difference, but the first half ended with 16-12 to Vác.
The opponent started with a goal, and then ETO replied with another one. Radosavjevic got suspended, then Görbe missed a penalty throw but the next one was successful. When the result was 21-15, ETO asked for another break, then the opponent scored another goal. The home team changed the goalkeeper, and Varga Emőke and Tóth reduced the difference a little bit, but the opponent scored three goals in a row. ETO, missing its Olympians and injured got defeated (31-27).
