Ambros Martin players did a great job and behind the defense Grimbsö performed excellently as well. ETO played a fast game from the first minute and the spectators could see several effective give-and-gos and fast counter attacks. The players could keep scoring and find the holes on the defense of the opponent. Amorim managed to score 6 goals by showing excellent backshots and break-ins. Knedlikova also performed well even against the wall she could score goals. Löke was performing as she was expected, she forced ejections and penalties. In the first 10 minutes of the second half the team was a little bit down, but ETO compensated it with a good defense. The opponent couldn’t take the rush by the last quarter of the match, they made more mistakes in defense that Győr could take advantage of. By the end ETO could reach a victory with a thirteen-goal difference.
Ambros Martin, head coach: “I’m proud of the team that they could keep their concentration at the maximum during the whole match. We didn’t cut loose when we had a great advantage. We had an excellent defense and fantastic goalkeeper performance. It was a serious difference, but if we don’t concentrate enough Fradi can surprise us.”
Kovacsics Anikó: “Congratulations to my team for today’s match. I didn’t expect a difference like this. We knew that we had to perform better now than at the previous match. We are all happy.”
