The girls are facing a huge obstacle this weekend, they are travelling to the scary Moracsa stadium for the Champions League Main round. We asked Ambros Martin and Kovacsics Anikó about the preparations and expectations.
“We know what is waiting for us in Podgorica” – said Ambros Martin, head coach. “We always play in front of full house in the Moracsa Arena. The atmosphere is scary and the opponent always has a scary aggressive defense that they do until the end. we are preparing for this and taking our confidence and courage with us. We have to play smartly, tactical and patiently, and we also have to improve our defense one level higher. We are preparing for a fair match and we hope that them too”
According to Kovacsics Anikó, the team was preparing for the match in a positive atmosphere. “We put a lot of emphasis on the tactical and theoretical preparation since Wednesday including two video watches. We played well at the past matches, we were strong at defense but our attack was getting organized too. We are full of confidence now, however, we will need to concentrate on the match from the first to the last minute. We are going for winning and becoming the first in the group”
