Romania is represented by two teams, Bucharest and Nagybánya, in the Champions League of which Bucharest team will come to Győr on Satruday. Our opponent is currently ranked 3rd in the Champions League group and has collected 7 points so far. They brought the points from th group matches against Buducnost and Savehof, during which they performed a double defeat on the Swedish. Interestingly enough Buduncust lost at home but they won the away match and the Romanians defeated Midtjylland by two goals in Bucharest.
The team is really colorful, 6 nations are represented in it. Besides the top players of Romania (Bradenau), they are also strengthened by the Danish Maria Fisker, the Swedish Isabelle Gulldén and Linnea Tortenson, the Spanish Carmen Martin and the Croatian Jelena Grubisic also known in ETO. Their top scorer is their center back, Gulldén, who has scored 52 goals. The team is a rookie in the Champions League, they have only played once in a national cup, in the EHF Cup in 2011-2012 and advanced until the best 16. Their coach is the Danish Kim Ramussen.
