Pál Tamara has been voted for the youth player of the year 2015 by the Hungarian Handball Association. It was a pleasure for the 15-year-old talent of ETO to get this title, however he worked a lot for it. “It was really surprised when I was told to check the article on the Internet which starts with Nagy Laci because I’m also mentioned. It’s a great honor for me to be mentioned in the same article as him since he is the male player of the year and I’m the female youth player of the year.” – Tamara said about learning about the award. “We had a very good year with the youth national team, since we won even two gold medals. I work a lot in ETO too, since I’m the member of the youth and junior team as well, so I play with 1 – 2 age groups older than me” Being a center back, Tamara plays significant role in the success of the teams. What about her dreams? “I would like to get into the adult team of ETO and the adult Hungarian National team. I know it requires much work and improvement but I’m ready. And I’m also dreaming about winning a Champions League”- said the young talent.
Besides Tamara, Heidi Löke was also awarded; she became the best foreign player of the year.
Congratulations to both of our players and we wish them furhter success in sport.
