In the last match of the group phase we will encounter the Danish team, providing us a good opportunity to take revenge for the home loss. Additionally, we can take more points to the main round. Midtjylland won three games, one against us and two against Hypo, but was defeated twice by Vardar. The Macedonians beat them both times with more goals, and also overpowered Hypo.
Their last match was in Austria, not among ideal conditions, since they had four injured players. Throsgaard was absent due to finger injury, Burgaard, who scored eight goals against ETO, had shoulder injury, and Ostergaard and Jorgensen were also missing. As a consequence, younger players were given the opportunity, which they took advantage of and were leading against Hypo by six goals at half time.
