“We are totally aware that it’s going to be a very important match” – says Görbicz Anita. “ Not only because of Skopje and the two points, but because of the happenings of the past weeks. The two losses didn’t come at a good time for us, but I can clearly see the change inside the team which can be felt during trainings as well. In our first Champions League game, when we beat Vardar, we were so energetic and wanted to show our best, and it was visible in our performance. Now, both teams have several matches behind them, so I expect a different game. As for my performance, I feel I'm improving step by step, but I’m not where I want to be yet. I’m physically all right, and I’m concentrating on doing the things I’m good at.”
Bodi Berni: “ We have to be at least as good in defense as in the match against Hypo. We made a lot of faults and we were aggressive enough making things easier for our goalkeepers. Vardar has very good players in every post, so we can’t give them opportunities anywhere, the same concentration will be needed as we had in Skopje or at home last Sunday.”
Kovacsics Anikó is also expecting a different match compared to last time: “ I think we will see a different Skopje on the court. The first defeat was a blow to their team, since then they have been performing very well. Our performance was really good in Skopje, I had some good moments too, but what we were the strongest at was being a TEAM with capital letters. We were concentrating so hard from the very first moment and we could keep it up until the last 5 minutes. We had the aggressiveness necessary in the defense and we could keep our head in the game, that’s why we could win. Since then we’ve also had some lows, but I feel we have recovered. We're going to analyze some videos today and see what we did well in the first match and try to use those things on Saturday. I’m sure it’s going to be a high quality match with a tense atmosphere.”
